HCM2010 Webinar Series: Enhancements to the Freeway Facilities Method
TRB is cosponsoring a webinar on July 19, 2011, from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. EDT, which is being conducted by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), that will examine enhancements to the Highway Capacity Manual 2010's (HCM2010's) freeway facilities method and its implementation by the FREEVAL computational engine, which is included as part of Volume 4 of HCM2010. The webinar will explore the capabilities of the freeway facilities method and demonstrate uses of the FREEVAL computational engine. HCM2010 Webinar Series: Enhanced Planning Methods and Applications of Generalized Service Volume Tables TRB is cosponsoring a webinar on July 21, 2011, from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. EDT, which is being conducted by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), that will examine enhancements to the Highway Capacity Manual 2010 (HCM2010) that can be applied to planning and preliminary engineering applications. A major focus of the webinar will be a demonstration of the new generalized service volume tables that are designed to allow for quick estimates of level of service for freeways, multi-lane highways, and urban streets.
