Delusions of safety As northern hemisphere markets return after the summer break and normal activity resumes, caution is the watchword. For it's now probable that in the coming months the pre-summer economic concerns felt in Europe will resurface. And it is economic data, such as growth, unemployment, budget position and debt issuance, that will be the key indicators of progress.
