This is causing some arriving flights to be delayed an average of 46 minutes. | Events All Events | | Movie shoot Van Buren St is closed between Wacker Dr and Canal St - movie shoot - This closure continues during the filming of the movie Transformers 3 until 10 PM Wednesday, August 4th (except during evening rush hours 3 PM - 7 PM when at least 2 lanes will be open). | | Concert E Jackson Blvd is closed between S Lake Shore Dr and S Columbus Dr - concert - This is closed for set up of Lollapalooza. It will remain closed until the morning of 8-9 | Roadwork All Roadwork | | I-290 Eisenhower Exwy - Outbound Between Congress Pkwy and Canal St - bridge construction blocking 3 lanes / one lane gets by - This is part of the two-year Congress Bridge project. | | Congress Pkwy Franklin St off ramp is closed due to ongoing construction | Mass Transit All Mass Transit | | Detoured CTA #121 Union-Wacker Bus - detoured - As a result of the Congress-Wacker construction, street closures and reconfigurations, the following changes are in effect until 5 AM May 31, 2012 - #121 Union-Wacker Express buses are being detoured to adjacent streets. DETOUR: NB buses run the regular route along Jackson, to Franklin, to Lake, to Post Pl, to Lower Wacker, then run the regular route. || SB buses run the regular route along Lower Wacker, to Upper Randolph, to Clinton, to Jackson, and run the regular route. | | No service CTA Red Line Trains - no service - A new auxiliary entrance is open for CTA customers at the Cermak-Chinatown Station. Located one block north of Cermak Rd on Archer Av, the new entrance will serve as the primary access point for customers until December 31, 2010 while the main entrance to the station on the north side of Cermak Rd is reconstructed and made accessible. | |
