City of Minneapolis Traffic Alerts Update

Minneapolis closes several streets near the Metrodome
as a security measure for Sunday, Sept. 26 Vikings game

The City of Minneapolis will close several streets around Mall of America Field at the H.H.H. Metrodome as a security measure for the Minnesota Vikings game Sunday, Sept. 26. 

Beginning at 10 a.m. Sept. 26, the City will close the following streets:

·        Fifth Street, from 11th Avenue to Park Avenue

·        Chicago Avenue, from Third Street to Sixth Street

·        Fourth Street, from Park Avenue to I-35W

·        Norm McGrew Place, from Third Street to Fourth Street

These roads will reopen about one hour after the completion of the Vikings game (about 4 p.m.)
