Eight panels over Eight Mile

Eight Mile Road Bridge, a short-span concrete structure built in 1940,
needed to be replaced in Hamilton County, near Cincinnati, Ohio. The
county's bridge department wanted to eliminate the horizontal construction
joints used in the previous composite deck designs. And, instead of a
product that just provided a composite deck on reinforced concrete beams,
engineers were looking for a total bridge superstructure application. Their
search led them to Composite Advantage's (CA) integrated drop-in-place FRP
bridge system.

Innovative concrete pavement project recently completed in S.C.

Three exits on South Carolina's I-385-SC 308 (Exit 2), SC 49 (Exit 5) and
State Road 23 (Metric Road, Exit 10)-that had been closed during the
rehabilitation project were scheduled to open on July 23 ahead of schedule.
