HCM2010 Webinar Series: New Signalized Intersection Methodology
TRB is cosponsoring a webinar on May 17, 2011, from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. EDT, which is being conducted by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), that will examine updates to the Highway Capacity Manual 2010's (HCM2010's) new method for modeling modern, fully actuated, dual ring control intersections. The webinar will explore the model's estimates of actuated phase duration, improved control delay algorithms, and improved queue estimates. The webinar will expand on information provided during a April 28, 2011, webinar that focused on the pedestrian, bicycle, and transit mode portion of this method.
